Assessments: Choose One

Pick the Assessment That Fits.

Each assessment scores one part of the business, or you, against what the next stage of growth demands. Pick the one that matches the problem that is loudest right now.

Team Readiness Assessment

For founder-CEOs whose leadership team has to carry more of the company.

Scores your leadership team against what the next stage of growth demands. It shows whether the team shares values it actually uses, knows who owns what, decides well, debates honestly, and holds itself to account. You come away knowing where accountability is unclear, who has outgrown their seat, and which gaps will slow the company down first.

Take the Assessment 24 statements, about 10 minutes
What It Measures
  • ValuesShared values the team uses to make tough calls
  • RolesClear scorecards and how each role depends on the others
  • DecisionsA known process for who gives input, decides, and approves
  • ConflictHealthy debate that ends in decisions everyone commits to
  • AccountabilityOwnership of commitments and follow-through on them
  • ResultsTeam KPIs that are published, reviewed, and improved

Leadership Readiness Assessment

For founders and senior leaders making the shift from doing the work to leading it.

Rates you, not the team, on the leadership and management skills that matter most as a company grows. It covers how you run yourself, your direct reports, your projects, and your teams, plus how you communicate and think through decisions. The scores show where your own skills are carrying the business and where they have started holding it back.

Take the Assessment 24 statements, about 10 minutes
What It Measures
  • PersonalHow you manage your own time, focus, and commitments
  • DirectsFeedback, one-on-ones, scorecards, and coaching for your reports
  • ProjectsScoping, estimating, and managing risk on projects
  • TeamsBuilding teams that manage themselves with clear roles
  • CommunicationAdapting your style, explaining clearly, and listening well
  • Critical ThinkingStructuring decisions and separating evidence from assumption

Growth Readiness Assessment

For leadership teams that are busy, but not sure they are executing the same plan.

Measures how clear and aligned your strategy really is across the six drivers of scaling, from core purpose to cash. It shows whether your team is executing one plan or quietly running several, where focus is leaking, and which driver is most likely to stall growth over the next twelve months.

Take the Assessment 24 statements, about 10 minutes
What It Measures
  • CoreDocumented purpose, values, and a long-range goal
  • PeopleAccountability, scorecards, development, and talent reviews
  • StrategyDifferentiation, target market, and a repeatable sales system
  • ExecutionDocumented processes, bottlenecks, and daily KPIs
  • CashCollections, monthly close, cash forecasting, and ROI priorities
  • PlanningAnnual and quarterly plans, scoreboards, and a set planning rhythm

Business Exit Readiness Assessment

For founders thinking about a sale, whether it is two years away or ten.

Gauges how ready your company is to run, and sell, without you at the center. It scores the drivers of transferable value that a buyer scrutinizes in diligence, flags what would discount your price, and shows what to fix while there is still time to fix it.

Take the Assessment 24 statements, about 10 minutes
What It Measures
  • Process & SOPsDocumented processes with owners, standards, and metrics
  • KPIs & ForecastsA multi-year forecast, an executive dashboard, and role metrics
  • Sales & MarketingClear positioning and a sales system that produces new business
  • People & ClientsDepth behind every leader and no dangerous client concentration
  • Planning SystemsQuarterly priorities, regular reviews, and a long-term roadmap
  • Values & CultureKnown core values, strong hiring, and a culture of improvement

Founder Exit Readiness Assessment

For founders who want to know whether they are ready to sell, not just the company.

Selling a company is a personal event as much as a financial one. This assessment scores your own readiness across the six dimensions that separate founders who thrive after an exit from those who regret it, from money and family to identity and what comes next. It is the other half of exit planning, and the half most founders skip.

Take the Assessment 24 statements, about 10 minutes
What It Measures
  • FinancialA plan for the proceeds and the protection to keep them
  • MotivationClear reasons to sell that do not depend on burnout
  • FamilyHow the sale will change life for you and the people close to you
  • AttachmentAn identity and interests that do not depend on the company
  • VisionA clear picture of the next chapter and why now is the time
  • SupportThe advisors, time, and support to run a sale well
Assessments: Where to Start

Not Sure Which One to Take?

A few simple rules cover most situations. If you are still unsure, a strategy call will sort it out quickly.

  • Start With the Loudest Problem

Take the assessment that matches what is costing you the most right now. The one you keep coming back to at night is usually the right place to begin.

  • If Several Fit, Go Earlier

Problems in an earlier stage tend to cause the ones that show up later. A strategy that will not stick is often a team problem underneath, so the earlier stage usually needs attention first.

  • Team or Leadership Readiness

The Team Readiness Assessment scores the leadership team as a whole. The Leadership Readiness Assessment scores you. If you suspect the bottleneck is you, start there.

  • Company and Founder, Together

An exit has two sides. The Business Exit Readiness Assessment scores the company a buyer will see. The Founder Exit Readiness Assessment scores you. Most founders preparing to sell should take both.

Assessments: How It Works

From Ten Minutes to a Plan.

Every assessment works the same way. The scores are yours the moment you finish. The report and the call are there if you want to go further.

  1. 01

    Rate 24 Statements

Score each statement from zero to ten based on how true it is today, not how true you would like it to be. The statements are mixed on purpose, so each one gets answered on its own.

  2. 02

    See Your Scores

Your results appear the moment you finish, with each of the six areas scored out of 40 and a total out of 240. There is no email gate in front of them.

  3. 03

    Request the Written Report

If you want more, request the full report. It is read personally and covers what is driving your scores, your strengths and weaknesses, the priorities to focus on, and a 90-day plan.

  4. 04

    Talk It Through

If the scores raise questions, a strategy call is the next step. We walk through the results together and decide what to work on first, whether or not that involves working together.
