How Do Your Leadership Skills Measure Up?
Answer based on how you lead today, not how you would like to or how you led at your best. Score your habits rather than your intentions, and go with your first read. If you are torn between two scores, take the lower one. The gap you are hedging about is usually the real signal.

Questions Leaders Ask About the Leadership Readiness Assessment.
Straight answers on what the assessment measures, how the scoring works, and what to do with the results once the scores are in.
What does the Leadership Readiness Assessment measure?
It measures your own leadership and management skills, not the team's. The 24 statements cover six areas: managing yourself, managing direct reports, running projects, building teams, communication, and critical thinking. The scores show where your skills are carrying the business and where they have started holding it back as the company grows.
How long does the assessment take?
About ten minutes. There are 24 short statements, mixed rather than grouped by area, and the scores appear the moment the last one is answered, with no email needed to see them. Score your habits rather than your intentions, and go with your first read. If you are torn between two scores, take the lower one.
How is the assessment scored?
Each statement is rated from 0 to 10, where 0 means not true at all and 10 means completely true. The four statements in each area add up to a score out of 40, read in bands of 8 from weak to strong, and the six areas add up to a total out of 240. The pattern across the six matters more than the total, because the lowest area is usually the one to work on first.
What is in the full report, and is it free?
Yes, the full report is free. It is a written analysis, read personally and personalized to your answers, covering all six areas, your current strengths and weaknesses, the priorities to focus on, and a 90-day development plan. Request it with a name and email after scoring. It takes a few days because a person reads every one.
How is this different from the Team Readiness Assessment?
This assessment rates you as an individual leader. The Team Readiness Assessment rates the leadership team as a whole: values, roles, decisions, conflict, accountability, and results. Founder-CEOs often take both, because a team problem and a leader problem look alike from the inside and call for different fixes. Senior leaders on the team can take this one for themselves too.
What should I do with my results?
Start with the lowest-scoring area, since that is where the next stage of growth will expose you first. NEXTLEVEL is the executive coaching program that works those priorities with you over time. A strategy call is the place to talk through the scores, and Build Your Team covers the wider work of building a leadership team that scales.
